The Hörmann Group has acquired Grothaus, a swing door manufacturer from Melle. The Lower Saxony-based company specializes in swing doors for gastronomy, retail, and public buildings. Following the acquisition, Grothaus aims to further expand its market position and benefits from the distribution structure of the Steinhagen-based group. The deal is part of the ongoing consolidation in the German doors and gates market, where larger manufacturers are strategically integrating specialized providers.
